Styling Vinyl

hace 53 meses

As we have had so many new pieces in Vinyl over the past few months, I have decided to style more of them for this blog post!

The first item I chose was this Alberta Ferreti knit sweater, layered with a blouse. I paired it with a black denim mini skirt, and an oversized grey blazer with a matching bag. To complete the outfit, I went for a leather beret and chunky boots with frilly socks poking out for contrast, and then a pair of pearl spiral Y/Project earrings, which work nicely with the detail on the sweater. For my next outfit, I went for a super comfy look, paring the grid print pants with a sweater that has statement sleeves with silver bow detail. Then, I layered the sweater with a slouchy white turtleneck. I added a pair of chunky white sneakers to add to the relaxed look, and then a white matador headband. To complement the silver bows on the sleeves, I went for silver hoops and chain handbag.

For my third outfit, I could not leave out this dress! I was so excited to see it in the window, as it’s inspired by the Versace dress that Naomi Campbell wore to the 1995 Met Gala, which is one of my all-time favorite looks from the event. I layered the dress with a white t-shirt and chose strappy white heels for a little contrast to the dress. I then went for over-the-top accessories such as the layered chokers, chunky ring, and silver mini bag. I then chose these rhinestone sunglasses by Alexander Wang, which remind me of a pair by Rifat Ozbek, famously modeled by Naomi on his Spring 1995 runway. For my final outfit, I chose this pair of statement stone earrings, which work perfectly with this oversized metallic blazer and pants set. I kept the rest of the outfit simple, with the black turtleneck, headband, classic pumps, and a crossbody bag with embellishments.
