Think #pink forever! - Stardoll

Hello Dolls!

October is a month of many activities. We celebrate Halloween and gear up for the end-of-year holidays. This year, we have enjoyed the MSW contest in October. As October is coming to a close, we want to recognize another reason that October is important.

October is also the month that the world focuses on breast cancer, the most common cancer in women globally besides skin cancer. It is the second leading cause of death by cancer among women. It can be hereditary, and men can get it too. Early detection is key, and most people who find it early are able to treat it and live healthy long lives. There are thousands of charities that help those living with and affected with this disease, charities that help fund groundbreaking research into treatments and cures, and charities that fund doctors visits for mammograms and detection. October is when we think #pink--but it’s more than wearing pink. A pink ribbon puts this cause in the hearts and minds of those who see it, and helps to raise money for this cause. If you haven’t already, and have the opportunity to donate, we encourage you to do your research, find a reputable charity, and donate your time, your funds, or your talents to this worthy endeavor.

We are giving out this pink ribbon to all of our dolls as a reminder of the hard work that is yet to be done in the fight against breast cancer and in honor of the survivors, those who lost their brave battles, and the families and loved ones of everyone who has dealt with this disease. The fight against breast cancer is more than just a ribbon, and lasts longer than one month a year. Please help fight against it every day of every week of every year, until the battle has been won.
