Styling LE

hace 78 meses

The new Limited Edition release was heavy on Schiaparelli pieces inspired by Spring 2018 Couture. The store had an eclectic mix of prints and textures, from florals and snakeskin to lace and fur.

For my first outfit, I styled the neon graphic shirt with a clear pink vinyl jacket and metallic boots. To contrast the pink, I added a pair of ripped shorts. Similarly, for my second outfit I chose pieces that would contrast the jacket. Instead of jeans, you could dress the jacket up with the 'Flower Lilac Trousers' from Windows on the World. I then added some floral mules, a chain belt and matching silver Miu Miu bag.

With my next outfits, I chose some of my favourite pieces from the entire collection - the Jeff Koons x Louis Vuitton bags! The embroidered jacket works perfectly with the Monet bag, and I completed the look with cut-off jeans, a lace blouse and white boots. The second bag of course depicts the Mona Lisa. I chose to style it with pieces that would complement different parts of the bag - the dusty pink jacket and pants co-ord with the straps and handle detail, and the white turtleneck, sneakers and briefs to match the branding.

For my final outfits, I couldn't resist styling the other two bags! This time I switched it up and went for darker outfits. The first bag was inspired by a painting by Jean-Honoré Fragonard. I styled it with a pair of gold-studded pants, and a classic white shirt. I accessorised with gold shoes and belt to match the bag. The final bag was inspired by Peter Paul Rubens. I styled it with a pair of statement Versace boots, and kept the rest of the outfit simple - a classic black slip dress and a slouchy shirt.
