Things in life can get us down but it's important to remain positive. Staying positive is sometimes easier said than done, especially when things can happen in our lives that get us down. 

- Read something positive. Pick up a book with an empowering story to inspire you and give you a more positive outlook. Plus, it feels great finishing a book.

- Think about the things you are grateful for. Start off small, such as being grateful it is almost the weekend. And eventually you will have a more positive mindset once you get into the pattern of thinking positive.

- Be around positive people. Surround yourself with friends, colleagues and teachers who won't be giving you negative influences.

-Turn failures into lessons. When something doesn't turn out right, don't assume you have failed at it. Learn from your mistakes so you can improve on them.

- Encourage other people. Movitating and helping other people makes us feel good about ourselves. This can help to build positive relationships.

-Live in the present. Stop dwelling on the past and worrying about the future. Spend that time enjoying what is happening now.
