Unresolved Resolutions

hace 83 meses

You know what, I haven't blogged since last year! Yes, yes, yes it was only a week or so ago when we were coming up with New Years Resolutions. Except, despite what one may think, this time is more important.

No matter what you said you were going to achieve in 2018, it is this time when you start to initiate or think about how you're going to achieve the resolution. But let's be real, this is when resolutions 'fail'. Why the use of apostrophes, Snerfy?

It can be very jarring starting something new in 2018, especially if you didn't do it in 2017. So even if you stray from your goal, you can always start again. I've come across a lot of people who say "New Year, new me" and then when they fail, revert completely to their old selves.

To me, that makes no sense, it is as if you completely disregard 2018 as something new. When really, 2018, and every new year is a year of promise and surprise. You can't always plan what's going to happen, and sometimes that's a good thing!

How are you all going on your NY resolutions?
