Summer Camp
A low-fuss style is best when it comes to summer fashion. This trend pulls inspiration from multiple eras, but is primarily a comfortable and carefree style.
My first two looks are very cute, with the girl scout influence coming through with the neckerchief, and the patches on the denim jacket and bag. I really love the patches trend (you have probably noticed by now!) as it is the easiest and cheapest way to make clothes personal to you!
My second looks were inspired by Dolores Haze, with a cute 50's vibe coming from the two piece and off-the-shoulder tops, denim overalls (a denim mini skirt would work too), and daisy sunglasses. For more of this look, try heart sunglasses, saddle shoes, and a polka-dot print romper or two piece. For hair, a milkmaid braid or double buns are perfect.
My last two looks are 70s inspired. With my left look, I was inspired by an outfit Farrah Fawcett wore whilst skateboarding in an episode of Charlie's Angels. Originally, she wore a red long sleeve with a white zip, denim flares and a pair of Nike Cortez. For my version I chose a ringer t-shirt with red detailing to match the Nikes and bag, and a pair of high-waist jeans. My last look was inspired by Lux Lisbon. A character from a 90s film set in the 70s, this links perfectly to the revival of 70s fashion seen in the late 90s. Again, this is a carefree style so I have kept it minimal with the only jewellery being the heart locket, and accessorized with a cute postcard bag which is perfect for the Lisbon sisters.
