3 Ways To Wear... Leather Jackets
Leather jackets are perfect for any season and can be worn in many different styles to suit everyone. I am only showing you three ways to wear this look, but there are unlimited ways to how you could wear them!
My first looks were inspired by 90s mega-babes Drew Barrymore and Winona Ryder. Both had a similar carefree approach to their style (and would later inspire the style of Kristen Stewart and Cara Delevingne). Their look is simple to achieve, starting with a slouchy leather jacket, and paired it with ringer t-shirts, boyfriend jeans, chunky boots and old converse.
My second look is more about dressing up your leather jacket. As the jacket is the show-piece with the metallic embellishments, I kept the other pieces simple with minimal detail. I styled the first look with a crisp white shirt and dressy culottes for a more sophisticated look, whereas the second look has been kept androgynous with the baggy sweater, boyfriend shirt and classic pants.
Finally, this has got to be my favourite look of the three! Who said leather jackets had to be black? I chose pastel shades, an obvious choice for spring I know, but I think the bulky leather makes a nice change from your classic fluffy and floral pastel pieces. What's great about these jackets is that they are from StarDesign, so you can create whatever colour you fancy - I am totally making a baby pink one! The overall look is very 00s, especially with the hoops, cropped turtleneck, and the matching jacket and skirt. I can totally imagine Lizzie McGuire or Kate Sanders wearing the first look!
