Finding Help When You Need It
When I first started on Stardoll, I was overwhelmed. Most features were easy to figure out on my own, but I still had a lot of questions. I found the behavior of some of the other members on the site confusing, and I was unsure about how to set boundaries. I was lucky to meet some wonderful patient dolls who took the time to help me personally.
This was one reason I started my club Advice4newbies. There are millions of members (now over 400 million!) and no one has the time to personally answer every inquiry. Having a club where questions have already been answered in clearly labeled discussions seemed like a great way to provide a resource for new members to learn how to help themselves. Even members who have been around for a while may encounter a situation that is troubling or confusing. Rules have changed over the years and features have been added. For most members it is worthwhile to drop by the club to read the safety information in the club presentation, whether or not they care to join.
AcademyStar is another useful club that provides information for those who are working on completing Stardoll Academy. The FAQ discussion covers all the tasks and there are some great tips on how to use your stardollars wisely.
The first place to look for help is the official Help section provided by Stardoll Staff. You will find a link by clicking on your doll's face at the top of the page and then navigating to the fourth selection, the one that says "Help".
Don't be afraid to seek out help when you need it.
Play safe and have fun.
