Uncomfortable Feelings - Go Away!
I've written posts before on tackling certain feelings - envy, embarrassment, etc. But, I can't go through all of the induvidual feelings one by one as it'll take forever. Besides, many of them have similar ways on how to tackle them. So, this post is for anyone who has an uncomfortable feeling inside them, and how it can go away!
* What's the root? You'll probably know whether you're envious, sad, angry, etc but you might not know what the root cause of that feeling is. Just take a few moments to think through and figure it out.
For example:
Why am I feeling so angry and envious of that person?
Well, it could be because we're doing things so similarly, yet they've gotten a better outcome, so I'm resenting them for it everyday.
Ta-da, root cause found! You are now one step closer to actually beating the problem.
* If it's with a person, talk it out - not everyone wants to talk to it through with the person, and that's ok. But if you feel comfortable enough to talk to the person you're feeling from, then you could get to know them a bit better.
* One step at a time - so, for example, if a person is unreasonably making you feel this way, tackle things one step at a time. I usually resent someone for a long time for one specific thing so this step works well for me. For example, if you see them you can try not to think anything mean about them, or not stare at them with anger.
* Ask for help - seriously, there's nothing wrong with asking someone for help with your feelings! I'm not a psychologist, so I can't help you will all of your feelings, however there are people who can. So ask your parents and I'm sure they'll be willing to help you! :)
I hope this post helps!
