Blogging is getting more and more popular nowadays, and it's understable why. Blogging is a fun way to be creative and it isn't too much commitment either. Here are some ways to start your blog, for Stardoll and real life:

* Write from the heart - write about something you genuinely love, not just what's fashionable. Why write a fashion blog when you'd much rather write a diary-style blog? Writing about something you love will make your posts much better too as you'll generally know more about the topic you're writing about too.

* Make it easy to read - make sure that you don't use too bright colors, or two colors which you can barely see together. You want everything to be easy to read. I'd recommend black with a light color background.

* Try to be active - Writing one post and leaving for six months isn't going to attract people to your blog. Well it might, but they'll get fed up of waiting for a second post. Try to post at least once a week if you want to gain followers.

And lastly...

* Don't advertise it on Stardoll! You may want followers, but advertising here is not the way to do it. It is against the One Stop Rules to share external links, therefore you risk getting your account deleted if you share the link to your blog.
