Hello there, beautiful people. With MSW fever in the air, girls (and guys) are busy getting their outfits ready, decorating their Suites, buying nail accesories and jewellry and makeup.

Everyone who's participating in MSW wants to look their best. I totally get that. Right at this moment my doll has a ton of makeup on. But let's get real for a second. In real life, many girls feel that makeup is what makes them attractive. I used to feel that way, but eventually I forced myself to go to the mall with zero makeup on and with all my horrible acne visible. (I was a bit too ambitious.)

What I'm trying to say is that I felt comfortable going out in public without any paint on my face. That's what makeup is, really. Paint. A mask.

Yes, I do wear makeup, and yes, sometimes we need a little powder to cover up some stuff but, come on, IT IS NOT A NECESSITY.

I do not want ANYONE to feel like you need makeup to be pretty. When you were born, people thought you were the most adorable thing in the world. YOU STILL ARE. Makeup is an enhancer, but underneath it, is you. And I don't want any girl or even boy to think that they look like ogres without it. Be thankful for how you were made. You were given that beautiful face for a reason. Flaunt that face, don't cover it up.

YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL.

And I think that at least once a month, or even a week, you should allow your doll to go an entire day without makeup. That is what I will do, and you should too. It's a good start to allowing yourself in real life to be comfortable without makeup.
