It's All In Your Presentation
Having a good and informative presentation can actually tempt more people to vote for you. Yes, there will always be spammers who don't actually care about that; they just want votes, but there will be some people who will read your presentation and judge you based on it. Here are some ways to have a great presentation:
* Good grammar - I'm not saying to write it as if it was your English A Level, but at least show you've been to school. Capitalise correctly and spell the words right. Riting Like Dis Is Not Gonna Werk.
* Make it pretty - Even if it seems shallow, people are more likely to notice a pretty and striking presentation than a bare one, no matter how informative it is. You don't have to be a whiz at HTML for this, you can find great presentation blogs on the internet.
* Be yourself - add some fun things about yourself in there, add some of your quirks. It's more interesting and relatable to read. Don't overdo it though, there is such a thing as trying too hard.
* Get straight to what you want to say - if you want to reduce spam, write down at the top in bold letters that you don't like it. It might reduce spam, although I did say before that spammers don't always care, but it's always worth a shot.
* Make it easy to read - no miniscule letters, stick to just one color for a piece of text, etc. It makes all the difference.
I hope this helps you on writing your presentation! :)
