Blogging Tips
Hi dolls.
I get asked a lot by other dolls to look at the posts they do. I always give my honest opinions on what I feel they could do to improve or what they are doing right.
So I thought I would create a post for anyone who is interested in becoming a Starblogger or who is just starting out and would appreciate some tips on how they can get to where they want to be.
Greeting/Ending. I think it's very important for you to begin with a greeting and always end with your own signature. This will make your posts more personal and the layout will look better. Writing a blog post is a bit like a short story. There is the start, the middle and the end. The middle being what it is you're blogging about.
Varied Posts. Don't stick to one thing. Get out of your comfort zone and write about anything and everything that interests you on Stardoll. Also speak about your own experiences on Stardoll or in real life so you can offer first hand advice.
Giving Advice. Much like this post. Make sure the advice you're giving is clear and concise. This will help other dolls understand more where you're coming from. For example, if you create a "getting the look" style of post, this will help others reading how to achieve this.
Punctuation/Spelling. Last, but certainly not least. Make sure your writing is always correct. Either spell check it on a writing programme you may have, or you can use the internet to find websites where you can copy and paste your text and it will highlight any errors for you.
Well dolls, these are my tips and I hope they help you.
