How to: Look like Marilyn!

Hey dollies! For today's post I have chosen to do an outfit and makeup look that is inspired by a popular celebrity. Now you may know her, she was a famous movie star during the 1950's and her fashion sense has inspired many outfits of today. I have recreated her most famous look... yes you guesses right! It's marilyn monroe. 

For the hair and makeup:

I have chosen to use blonde hair dye to match the colour of marilyn's hair. For makeup, I have stuck to her favourite red lipstick using this solid colour from Doth. I avoided using any blusher as marilyn didn't wear too much makeup to cover her cheeks. To make the eyes stand out just like hers I have used black mascara from Doth. The volume and length mascara will be needed for this look. Keep any eyeshadow simple by using a natural colour as a base and then in the corner of the eyes add white eyeshadow and eyeliner. To finish the look of use balck eyeliner to add a flick to the outer corner of the eye.

For the outfit:

In this image my doll wears a white dress that was designed in the stardesign studio. Marilyn used to wear white heels often and so I have found a glittery pair of heels from Voile. Although, Marilyn did not carry a bag with this look, I found a silver glittery clutch from the starbazarr to match the shoes. 

And there you go, you have the perfect Marilyn Monroe look!
