Who: Rachel Bilson
What: The L.A. premiere of Waiting for Forever
Wear: Burberry dress, Louboutin platforms
On Tuesday night in Los Angeles, along with her costar Tom Sturridge, Bilson attended the premiere of her new film, Waiting for Forever, in a smoky gray Burberry dress and patent Louboutins. We like how the ladylike ruffles are juxtaposed with edgy leather details, making her look tough yet tender at the same time. Her feminine bun and nude lips kept the focus on her killer dress.

Narcisco Rodriguez, Imaxtree
An overarching theme for spring is minimalist style. While this is nothing new (Calvin Klein, Narcisco Rodriguez, and Jil Sander have been doing minimalism for years), the style and philosophy are gaining ground in a time when people are starting to ditch the idea of “more is more” and ask “what is enough?”. The core idea of minimalism is stripping down to the bare essentials. Think quiet, simple, and easy. But enough of the philosophy lecture, how can you translate this trend for your closet?

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are expecting twins, but they weren’t expecting this! Apparently the twins aren’t just boys or girls, but a boy and a girl. The best of both worlds really and another one for the celebrity baby books: Jennifer Lopez’s twins Max and Emme, Julia Roberts’ twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, and of course, the Jolie-Pitt twins Knox and Vivienne. “There were fan contests on Twitter about what gender they are and rumors about them being two boys or two girls – but nobody guessed this!” said Mariah Carey.

Is true love really non-existent? Long-time High School Musical sweethearts Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have called it quits after four years. The news comes a shock to most, as both Hudgens and Efron have recently spoken good words about their relationship. Reports say the two split amicably and both plan on remaining close friends. The Brangelina of the under 25 crowd met in 2005 on the set of their first major movie, High School Musical, and began dating shortly after. What followed were tons of paparazzi shots taken at red carpet events and basketball games of the ridiculously good-looking couple. Though we wish them both well, we’re not oblivious to the fact that Zac Efron is now…on…the…market…

Say hello to your new Peter Parker, girls—and our Crush of the Week: Andrew Garfield. This cutie first caught our eye as Eduardo Saverin in The Social Network, the film which earned him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role. Then seeing him in the dark drama Never Let Me Go sealed the deal, and now he’s the only reason we’ll watch the Spider-Man reboot, where he’ll replace Tobey Maguire as the new Peter Parker.
Though he is L.A. born, the 27-year-old actor was raised in England, which means he comes with an irresistible British accent. He started taking acting classes at 15, so playing Mark Zuckerberg’s best friend in this summer’s smash hit The Social Network wasn’t his first role. Perhaps you’ve seen him in The Other Boleyn Girl or The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. Spider-Man director Marc Webb says of Garfield: “Though his name may be new to many, those who know this young actor’s work understand his extraordinary talents. He has a rare combination of intelligence, wit, and humanity. Mark my words, you will love Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker.” Done and done. The new Spider-Man movie starts production this month, and it comes out in 3D on July 3, 2012.

Last month, Justin Bieber debuted uber-glittery nail polish from OPI. Now, he’s working on a fragrance called My World, which means your entire beauty routine can soon be Bieber-based. The tween popstar’s really taking an unexpected route to self-promotion. No video games, no cereal boxes, not even a clothing line, instead he (or someone in his camp) is focusing on women’s beauty products. On the one hand, sure, girls are obsessed with him and will probably buy anything with his name on it, but who wants to smell like their crush? He’s stopping just short of 100% girly, and marketing the perfume through dog tags and bracelets infused with the scent instead of actual bottles. His fragrance launches at Wal-Mart after Thanksgiving, and if you’re wondering what it smells like, Bieber tells WWD that he likes Britney Spears’ scent, “It smells good.” The boy clearly did his research.
