Rachel Zoe presented her latest collection yesterday afternoon to an incredibly long line of editors and buyers, all there to sing the mega-stylist’s praise while sipping cucumber coolers. ”It’s about Bridget Bardot when she was spending a lot of time in St. Tropez with Serge Gainsbourg,” she said of her Spring designs. With her label now it its third season, The Rachel Zoe Project back on Bravo and as popular as ever and a new protegé to dress up, baby Skyler, Zoe has no shortage of reasons to celebrate. “He’s here with me, he’s just hiding in the back.” she told us of the baby. ”Now I wear a lot of black because it’s easy to brush off the spit up and formula. And I don’t walk around with him while wearing heels…it’s dangerous.” The spring collection, filled with Zoe’s signature long flowing dresses, sharp jackets and a new range of shoes and bags is, “effortless, easy, glitzy, glam,” and comes in a surprising array of neutrals with pops of cobalt and red. It had us thinking about where this woman finds the time, “It was really hard to miss my friend’s shows [this week], usually I’d be at six shows a day” she said.  Instead, she’s made it to two. Sounds like she’s OK with it though: “I’m living my dream!”
