Styling Limited Edition

Stardoll recently released a highly-anticipated new collection of Limited Edition! The collection was full of variety, with looks from Rodarte’s runway and Paris Fashion Week street style, and items from designers including LaQuan Smith, Dion Lee, and Christian Cowan. For this blog post, I have styled some of the items!

Starting with my first outfit, I chose this off-the-shoulder quilted leather mini dress by LaQuan Smith. I took a little inspo from Rihanna’s outfit on the Savage x Fenty 2020 show red carpet, with the exposed lace bra, layered silver necklaces, and belt. I also added some black sunglasses, a tiny black handbag with a silver chain handle, and then a pair of heels. Next, I wanted to style this Dion Lee shirt, which has detached sleeves with silver hook-and-eye fastenings. I paired the shirt with a black denim skirt with a V-shaped waist, and to show-off the sleeves, I added this plaid off-the-shoulder coat. I completed the outfit with leather accessories; the beret, bag, and boots, and some silver triangle hoop earrings.

For my next outfit, I chose this tiny pink box handbag, by Amina Muaddi, who launched her first-ever handbag line ‘the Aminis’ in September 2020. I styled the bag with a matching pink silk headscarf and pointed mules. To contrast the pink, I added an oversized blazer with exaggerated shoulders and then an oversized white shirt as a dress. I finished the look with a pair of sheer black socks and a NY Yankees cap. I then chose this Christian Cowan hot-pink mini dress with over-the-top feather sleeves. Instead of styling it as a dress, I styled it as a top, tucking it into a pair of light-wash mom jeans for a slightly dressed-down look. I then added a pink Gucci bag with pearls and floral appliques, a pair of hoop earrings, and strappy silver heels.

For my next outfits, I chose items from the Louis Vuitton outfit that was worn by Alizée Gamberini at Paris Fashion Week. I styled the blue cardigan with a pair of black jeans, a classic leather belt and chunky boots for a casual take, and then added gold jewelry to match the buttons on the cardigan. For a bag, I thought this Louis Vuitton x Jeff Koons edition of their Neverfull tote bag was perfect with the bright blue elements and gold hardware. You could also add a trench coat worn open, in a brown color. Next, I styled the monogram mini skirt with an oversized coat in a similar color to the print, and then a grey long-sleeve loosely tucked into the skirt. To accessorize, I added a baseball cap, silver hoop earrings, and chunky sneakers with grey socks. For a bag, I would add a mini-Louis Vuitton bag.
