PARISIAN HOUSE TOUR
You guys! My doll has moved house to coincide with the new year, and I'm taking you on a tour!
The entryway is the place where you take the first peek into my new house. The tall solar windows let light shine throught the day, generate electricity for the whole house, and create a charming atmoshpere at night.
Stepping inside, you can see the big ceiling-to-floor fountain that uses a special no water waste system to reuse the same amount of water continously. The entryway is decorated with artwork made by Kent, which you will find in almost every room.
The living room is the most frequented part of the house, so I wanted to keep the space light and airy. I chose two long sofas deocated with pillows and matching footstools, four bamboo plants, a recycled stone fireplace and a big faux fur rug.
My doll spends most of his time in the kitchen, and I made sure to add all of the required appliances. I went for matte black cupboards and appliances, and balanced them with taupe acrylic countertoups with silver borders, green/white/black lamps, and a grey diamond tile backsplash.
Spending a lot of time in the kitchen means a lot of good food to serve your friends. For my dining room, I have chosen a long table that fits all of my doll's BFFs, and invited them all for dinner. Good food and friends is all one needs at the end of the day.
This is where the magic happens. My doll's office is the place where he blogs, sells stuff online, and plays online games. I have taken a minimalist approach in this room, keeping only the essentials.
Kent's art room might be one of my favorite parts of the house. A long string of paintings decorate the walls, just like in an art gallery. The brown cupboards have just enough drawers to house all of his many, many art supplies.
I have chosen this beige shade of granite for the bathroom, and matched it with a deep green marble bathtub. Gold accents can be found throught the room in the sun mirrors which form a triangular pattern, towel holder and light installation.
For the dressing room I got matte black and grey wood closets that let the color-coodinated wardrobe shine through. Besides color coordinating, my doll loves using the KonMari method to choose which clothes to organize.
The last room that I'm going to show you is my doll's bedroom. I went for a king sized bed with curved arches, brown armchair, a cream and two emerald couches, recycled wood night stands and glass chandelier.
Orange silk, pineapple leather, and recyled materials can be found throught the house because I love being green! Thank you for taking this tour, what part of my doll's house did you like the most?
