Hi dollies!

Today's post is starting the countdown to one of the most anticipated times in the Stardoll calendar: Miss Stardoll World.

It is the coveted prize many dollies wish for and we are now into our 7th year. Over a range of posts I will be looking back at some of the previous winners.

It all started off in 2010 - two years before I joined. As it was a small thing at the start, only some countries could take part in the event.

The format was similar with 3 rounds - voting in suites, semi-finals and finals.

There were no awards given to 2nd and 3rd place.

The winner of the first MSW was Perilice2 who was a Turkish doll. She got the most votes overall. Although her doll isn't available anymore, you can still dress her up.

As it was the first year, the prizes weren't as exravagant as they are now, however they were a big deal 7 years ago. Perilice2 won the MSW 2010 sash, crown, a year of Superstar membership and approximately 1000 stardollars.

Perilice2 set the bar for the next 6 years and so many more to come.
