Beach Tips
Hello dolls,
Is it summer in your corner of the world? If so, then you and I are lucky enough to be able to soak up the sunshine for a few precious months. I'm also extra lucky in the fact that I live right next to a gorgeous beach! Whether you share my fortunate situation, or beaches are a bit further away for you, here are some tips to make the most of your day of sun, sand, and surf!
Be prepared beforehand. There's a lot you need to bring on a beach day, so make sure you have a big (but cute!) tote bag that can carry your towel, sunscreen, beach toys, camera, phone, sunglasses, beach clothes, and whatever else you might need to make your beach day wonderful.
Get the timing right. If at all possible, try to avoid going to the beach in the early afternoon. Not only is this the worst time to be out in the sun, but it's also when the beach will be packed with people, and you'll have a hard time landing a choice spot in the sand. My personal preference is to go to the beach in the late afternoon, when other people have left for supper. It might be a bit colder, though, so watch out!
Stay safe! If the weather is looking too windy, consider postponing your beach trip. You don't want to get caught in big waves or riptides. Likewise, check the UV index and protect yourself from burns by sunscreening and layering as much as you can.
What are your beach tips?
Til next time!
♥ Kat
