How To: Perfectly Straightened Hair
Hey all!
I haven't posted in a while, but I was inspired to write a post on how to straighten your hair after seeing a couple of videos on the subject. I have naturally wavy hair so it's not that difficult for me to do, but I used to always take a long time and miss spots. After researching a little bit, I have perfected the technique and wanted to tell you all my tips!
1- Use heat protectant. This keeps your hair from getting overheated and brittle. Spray it in after you shower while your hair is still damp, and be sure your hair is completely dry before straightening.
2- Do it section by section! I have super long and thick hair so it was always hard to get a super sleek look because the under part of my hair always remained wavy. But now, I clip a third of my hair up at a time and thoroughly straightening each section before moving on.
3- Lastly, I always finish with a light oil serum on the ends and up to make sure my hair stays sleek and frizz free.
And that's it! I hope these tips help you:)
