Gucci Girls

Gucci is fast becoming a favourite brand for me! Since appointing Alessandro Michele as Creative Director, he has brought an exciting retro and kitsch aesthetic to the brand. For this post, I have collected some of my favourite Gucci pieces from around Stardoll! Starting with my first outfits, I styled a few pieces from the latest tribute. I chose to style this gorgeous silk blouse with a leather jacket, ripped jeans and the graffiti bag just to contrast the feminine, pristine look of the blouse. With my second outfit, I could not leave out this glitter coat! As the showpiece of the outfit, I kept the rest of the styling simple, with a white dress underneath, and matching heels. You could of course dress it down slightly with a pair of jeans and t-shirt underneath.

With my next looks, I chose this Gucci print two-piece, which I split into two looks, and the embroidered denim skirt. A huge trend this year, embroidery has also become a signature style at Gucci, with embroidered leather jackets, denim and souvenir jackets. With the calf-length skirt, I styled it with a classic white shirt, but then added a leather jacket and sneakers.

My last looks are super glam! Alessandro has brought a 70's style to the brand, which is clear with these gowns, and the flowy fabrics, plunging necklines and prints. The style of the pink dress reminds me of the Lisbon sisters, but with glittery appliqué as a modern update. For both of these looks I styled them with doorknocker earrings (very popular in the 70's), and a choker. With the first look, I chose this choker with a chain to accentuate the plunging neckline. Thank you for reading!
