Styling Brightly Coloured Hair
I love my doll having brightly coloured hair, but it can be difficult to match it to an outfit! Here are a few tips for styling your doll's looks around a hair colour that doesn't usually appear naturally.
Neutrals
By using mainly neutral colours in your doll's outfits, you won't have to worry about how they look with the hair colour you chose. Try using white, black, grey, or branch out into beiges and creams! Don't worry about sticking completely to neutrals - your doll will look fine with a few differently coloured accessories added in.Matching
If you want to try a different approach, why not match your doll's outfit to their hair colour? I tried this the other day by basing my look around the colours pink and black, reflecting the pink in my doll's hair. This strategy can result in a really dynamic look! Remember to use the colour filter option in your closet so you can see every item you have that would match well, all at once.Match the Theme
Many colours remind us of certain things. Blue might remind you of calm or water, green might remind you of nature, and yellow might remind you of happiness! One way to style coloured hair is to base your outfit around the theme that your hair reminds you of. For example, my doll's pink and blue hair reminded me of a fairy- so I based my outfit around a floaty, fantasy look. Try it out! What are your tips for styling brightly coloured hair?
