Glitter is apparently not only for school projects, but seemingly beautiful to wear! Who would have known?

Glitter, sequins, sparkles and bedazzlement are all in the same boat, they can either make you shine brighter, or a little bit too much. Once you've gone glitter there's no going back, it will soon be hair, makeup, clothing and every accessory in your possession.

I think that's a bit extreme if you are only trying glitter out, but glitter critters exist.

What makes people want to do that to themselves? 

It's simple, when humans see something sparkly and glittery they instantly think wealth and status. Of course, humans aren't that simple, so if you cover yourself in glitter and run around, you probably won't come across as rich or of high status.

In small amounts, large amounts, long amounts and short amounts glitter can be great, but really it's who's wearing it.
