Free Activities!
While holidays and weekend activities can be fun, they are often also expensive! A movie with friends, lunch or dinner out, a visit to a theme park... all fun activities, but ones that also tend to cost a reasonable amount of money. Here are some ideas for activities that can often be found for free or cheap!
-Art Gallery: Many art galleries don't charge for general admission. Look around and find your favorite art piece - get inspired!-Museum: Museum entries are often free, or only require a small donation for entry. If it's school holidays in your area, they might even have fun activities on!
-Public Gardens: Big public gardens are so beautiful! If it's winter where you are, look for any local tropical gardens that are still open - keep warm and see amazing plants!
-Arts and Crafts at Home: Baking, making cards, or making presents! Super fun, especially if you invite some friends over to help.
-Local Fairs: See if there are any school or other fairs around your community! They are usually free to enter, and you can usually find a cheap snack or lunch. Fun!
-Public Concerts: Check to see if there are any public all age concerts in your local park or other area. A fun day out for family and friends!
