3 Dimensional Suite Design
If you're anything like me, you probably spend a lot of time reading the stardoll blog and looking at all of the featured suites, or browsing through other user's suites and getting inspiration for your own.
I wanted ot share with you some of the tips that will make your suite look really 3 Dimensional and outstanding that I have discovered while browsing others' suites and used on my own.1. Light and Shadow
You use contouring in your makeup routine, so why not on your suite?
To create the shadows in the image below I used the DIY cabinets (36 sc) turned horizontally, but there are lots of other items you can use too!
For adding highlights, I would suggest using the FASHION spotlight (36 sc)2. Distance
If you're creating a window in your room I would really reccomend the winter peak panorama window (59 sc) as it has a blue tint, as shown below.
If you do not want to create a window, I would also reccomend using the Kitsch white smoke (40sc) and placing this between layers of items. It's very subtle!3. Layering
Layering items over the top of other items gives the idea that some are closer. You can really easily create a realistic look!
3. Sizing
If you want something to appear further away then all you need to do is simply make it smaller and place it higher up on the page. It's really that simple!
This really gives the impact of the 3rd dimension!
