As the majority of stardoll is younger girls who are interested in fashion and beauty, I feel it would be a good idea to write about the basics of wearing makeup, and what I would have liked to know when I first started out wearing it.

When should you begin wearing makeup?
There is no time to begin, nor is there a time where you are obliged to do so. If you are interested in makeup and your parents will allow you to wear it, then go for it!
I started wearing makeup when I was eleven years old. For me, I gained a lot of confidence!

How do I learn to apply makeup?
This can be confusing. It took me years to figure out mascara! The best thing to do is to ask a friend who wears makeup for help. Alternatively, there are lots of tutorials you can access online!

What kinds of makeup should I try first?
When I began wearing makeup I avoided tricky things like eyeliner and stuck with the simple things like lipstick. There are lots of different types of makeup, so don't rule anything out!
