Hi,

After is a teenage romantic film. The case is a bit cliché and utopian, but it is not bad to have dreams.

The film is based on Anna Todd's book. The main roles are a young compromised girl (Tessa) and a reactionary boy (Hardin). The beginning of their love was a truth or dare game and he hid a secret. It was a love story where we see both sides of the lovers, and they reference classical literature: It's not just Elizabeth Bennet's integrity that made Darcy fall in love. But also the character of Darcy who made Elizabeth fall in love with him.

It is an overly-romantic story that shows that a love based on a challenge can prove to be a deep and true love. The performances of the actors (Josephine Langford & Hero Fiennes-Tiffin) are really strong and amazing, and in many parts they are touching.

What I stood out in the film was that it referred to important books of English literature. Wuthering Heights: "He's more myself than I am. Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same." 
The Great Gatsby. Pride and Prejudice.
Our Mutual Friend: "You could draw me to fire, you could draw me to water, you could draw me to the gallows, you could draw me to any death, you could draw me to anything I have most avoided, you could draw me to any exposure and disgrace. This and the confusion of my thoughts, so that I am fit for nothing, is what I mean by your being the ruin of me." 

These are books that I think everyone should read!
