Finally we have an actual reason to jump on the FarmVille bandwagon: Lady Gaga has teamed up with the social gaming company Zynga to stream songs from the not-yet-released Born This Way album (out May 23) on FarmVille, specifically via GagaVille.  Starting today, FarmVille users can visit GagaVille and undertake quests and tasks to unlock the iHeartRadio player and access the tracks (first up is ‘Marry the Night’). Users can also decorate their farms with Gaga-inspired limited-edition virtual items like the hot pink gem seen in the doctored photo above. Tune in to Clear Channel radio stations across the country to hear Lady Gaga announce codes to unlock these virtual items, and enjoy even more guilt-free hours on FarmVille!

While we were watching Bridesmaids this past weekend, Vanessa Hudgens’ been jet-setting around France attending star-studded parties like the Art Of Elysium 3rd Annual Paradis Event in Antibes and the Belvedere (Red) Party in Cannes. You know a girl’s got style when she can make a daytime ensemble look just right for night and still school in typical going-out-wear the next evening. In reality, anyone can make a day look work for night—it just depends on how you accessorize and how much makeup you wear (and what shoes you wear!). Take a cue from Hudgens and shop similar looks that can work just as well for a noontime flea market spree as for movie night with your boy. Go on—we know you can rock these pieces 24/7!

Miu Miu’s announced the newest face of their Fall/Winter 2011 ad campaign: 14-year-old Hailee Steinfeld, the Oscar-nominated starlet of True Grit. Girl’s rising to Hollywood sweetheart fame faster than you can say It-Girl, and considering her evident love for the hottest designers on the red carpet, including many a Miu Miu frock, the news comes as no surprise to the fashion world. Speculation about Steinfeld’s involvement with Miu Miu started months ago when she sat front row at the line’s Paris show, and especially after Steinfeld’s been seen wearing pieces from both Miu Miu and its older line Prada (but she and her stylist Karla Welch have made it clear that Miu Miu’s her favorite to wear). This isn’t the first time Miu Miu’s sought out a teen for their muse: Lindsey Wixon was 15 when she modeled for the brand last spring. Word is Steinfeld’s campaign has already been shot, and we can’t wait to see the snapshots. What do you think? Good choice on the major fashion house?

In Bryant Park, just blocks away from the city’s modern art galleries, Oscar de la Renta presented his latest collection for resort, a strong tribute to artist predecessor Pablo Picasso and the designer’s own Spanish roots. The 62 looks de la Renta sent down the runway captured the spirit of an electric, almost provocative Spanish culture alive with fiestas, matador bullfighting, and flamenco—a few models in ruffled dresses could have definitely passed for real dancers sans castanets. The influence of Picasso’s iconic cubist paintings was evident in the graphic angular shapes decoupaging the frocks. The collection includes poolside get ups as well as evening wear (we especially loved Candice Swanepoel in that sensational one-shouldered minty green number. A lesser talent may have given such a collection a campy, flashy feel, but each piece showed de la Renta’s gorgeous handwork in the details—meticulous beading, embroidery, patchwork, and otherwise heavy embellishment—all working beautifully towards the bigger picture: a masterpiece of elegance and unmistakably Oscar.

The annual Cannes Film Festival is in full swing, and we’re loving the looks so far on the star-studded red carpet. We especially took note of the easy breezy hair trend that model Karolina Kurkova and actress Salma Kayek were working. Pushing their bombshell waves off to one side, they’ve mastered the art of effortless elegance.

    Yigal Azrouël spring 2011, Imaxtree

One of our favorite things about spring is the healthy dose of bright, eye-catching colors we’re treated to after a season of muted neutrals, nudes, and earth tones that we’re more apt to describe as “dull” at this point. Back in February, a shocking spectrum of colors dominated the runways in the form of eye makeup from Derek Lam’s neon-painted lids to Oscar de la Renta’s whimsical smoky eye sans the conventional charcoal color. We round up three new ways to update your favorite eye makeup trends with a flash, burst or sliver of color in the most noteworthy shades.

    Prada spring 2011, Imaxtree

Coco Chanel liberated women with them, Jean Paul Gaultier swears by them, and Sonia Rykiel founded a career on them. Stripes are back for spring 2011 (if you can say they ever went out in the first place) and popular at Prada and Jil Sander among others. But now, they’re all over the runway in multiple shapes and color combinations, each more surprising than the last. And no, it’s not all about that bold Prada print.

    Lacoste, Imaxtree

Who needs arm candy when the wrist is such a show-stopper? Bangles were the accessory to have at the spring 2011 shows, adding some bling to the models limbs. Minimalist ceramic cuffs and exotic wooden rings spiced up Lacoste, while slim neon bracelets brightened up DSQUARED2. Chunky or elegant, solo or piled-on, Roberto Cavalli, Edun, Marc by Marc Jacobs and Donna Karan also had their say.
