Lucid Dreaming

vor 107 Monaten

For today's post I chose a topic that seemed really interesting for me, I hope you find this post interesting and useful as well.

I wanted to talk about a phenomenon called 'lucid dreaming'. It occurs when, while we are asleep and dreaming, we suddenly become aware we are actually dreaming. And it gets really interesting at this point. I mean, you are aware it is just a dream, but are able to control your actions. It is better than daydreaming, you are actually living in your dream, and it seems much more realistic.

I have experienced lucid dreaming maybe only once or twice in my life. But it isn't a rare occasion that, when I have a bad dream, I suddenly become aware it isn't real, I am like "wake up, it is not real, you are just dreaming". It really helps when the dream is really scary in many ways, and the realization it is just a dream brings a huge relief.

There are various ways to achieve lucid dreams, but I haven't tried any yet, though I think I might. One of them includes writing down your dream as soon as you wake up and include all details. Well... my dreams are usually too embarrassing, I wouldn't like to remember them usually. I wake up, remember some details, but they fade really quickly, leaving only the realization that I had an interesting or bad dream. And that's all.

I wanna hear your stories now. Have you ever experienced lucid dreams, and how did it feel?
