Styling Vinyl #8

48 måneder siden

For this blog post, I have styled some more pieces from the daily Vinyl looks.

To start, I chose this oversized printed shirt from the Polish streetwear brand MISBHV. The daily look that the shirt was included in was the first time we have seen anything from the brand on SD since their launch in 2013! I styled the shirt as a dress, but I think it would also look great with a pair of white pants. For jewelry, I layered silver necklaces and added some hoops. Then, I added some flame sunglasses, and a blue gradient Louis Vuitton monogram bag for a subtle print clash. Finally, I went for a pair of strappy white heels, but sneakers would be a nice alternative. Continuing with the blue theme, for my next outfit I chose a cropped tank top, which I paired with some black low-rise pants, matching blue sunglasses, and a clutch bag worn under the arm. To complete the casual look, I added some Triple-S sneakers with primary color detail.

Next, I wanted to style this bright yellow Matthew Adams Dolan shirt and skirt set, which was seen on Hailey Bieber during Paris Fashion Week last year. I started by matching the color of the set to the beads on these Marc Jacobs earrings, which is also a nice way to bring other colors into the look. I then added a baby blue bag and matching socks, and a pair of chunky Balenciaga Track sneakers. Then, I chose this bodycon dress by Maisie Wilen, an L.A.-based designer specializing in psychedelic prints with clashing colors. I decided to stick to the colors on the dress with the angular sunglasses, mini bag, and strappy heels, but you could choose white accessories for more of a contrasting look. You could also add a structured black blazer to contrast the color and print, or tuck the dress into a pair of slouchy jeans.

For my final outfits, I styled this top and skirt set by Christopher Esber. I love a matching set, but decided to style them as separates. With the skirt, I paired it with a simple white crop top, and a silver body chain which I think works nicely with the V-shape ruching on the skirt. I then chose a matching blue bag worn over the shoulder (which also works as a crossbody bag), some blue mules, and a pair of silver hoops with blue stones. You could swap the mules for some white sneakers, for even more of a casual look. Finally, with the ruched top, I paired it with a pair of leather pants in a navy color which have a similar V-shape to the top, some strappy blue heels, a matching mini bag, and some black sunglasses.
