Styling Valentino

63 måneder siden

The second tribute of the season was Valentino, which was inspired by Spring 2019. For this post, I have styled a couple of the pieces.

With my first outfit, I went for a '70s glam-inspired outfit, layering the dress with a white shirt, and adding the chunky platforms, heart-shaped bag, statement sunglasses, and a headband. You could swap the sunglasses for a pair of statement earrings instead. With the glittery tulle dress, I went for a cute pastel look. These glitter socks are a perfect match with the dress, but also add a subtle pop of color with the yellow and pink stripes. I completed the outfit with colorful earrings and a pastel yellow mini handbag.

I styled the brown knife-pleat skirt with streetwear-inspired pieces, such as the boxy t-shirt, chunky sneakers, and leather cap. For jewelry, I layered mixed metal necklaces and added square hoops. For my next outfit, I chose the oversized hoops and leather bag with feather details. I styled them with a silk blouse and cropped pants, adding gold accessories the necklaces and belt with gold hardware. For shoes, these strappy Jacquemus heels work really well with the subtle blue heel detail.

For my next outfit, I went for another '70s inspired look, this time taking elements from more of a '70s boho style. I chose a simple black roll-kneck and flared pants, and styled them with a brown leather fringe vest, platform clogs, and a double belt. For accessories, the brown leather bag works perfectly, and the hoops complete the outfit. For my final outfit, I chose this sheer gown, which I styled with matching sheer socks and bow heels. To contrast the silver detail on the dress, I added gold accessories for a mixed metal effect.
