Recently, I have stumbled upon a Shopaholic book series by Sophie Kinsella. The books are hilarious and I believe there are people who can identify with Becky, the protagonist of the series. Well, maybe not in real life, but on Stardoll - why not? See the situations below and check if any of them seem familiar to you.

- Stardoll announced there is new limited collection coming this weekend. So you, if you are lucky enough to have your own credit card, buy those precious gold coins and wait impatiently for the release. Or you beg your parents to lend you theirs, promising you will do the dishes, vacuum, take out the trash for the whole week. It doesn't matter if you have no idea what the collection will look like - it is limited, so you must have it!

- There is huge sale in Starplaza. So, again, you use your credit card to top up, and buy tons of stuff - it doesn't matter that they are not really your style or whether you are ever going to wear them - they are on sale, so you are actually saving money!

- A new store arrived in the Starplaza. Fantastic! You must buy that new pair of jeans - you know you already have a dozen of them, but those are Givenchy! And 3 extra bags, you can't miss out on those, right? Do you seriously wanna' wait for them to go out of Starplaza so you have to spend hours hunting for them in the Bazaar once you realize you need them?

Now, of course, being a shopaholic on Stardoll doesn't necessarily have to be a big issue, as you can get some great deals and have a lot of fun. Just make sure your real life doesn't suffer.
