 AllDolledUp's series gives tribute to the international members of the SD community.

Meet Janin, a 24 year old player from Germany. She loves to get creative in her free time, no matter if it's painting, crafting or following the latests fashion trends and dressing herself, or her doll, up. Janin studied Egyptology in university, but now works in the luxury side of the fashion industry.

What inspired your username?
My old username was 'Jainijain' and the story behind it makes me laugh now. When I was younger I wanted a cool and unique nickname. I thought 'just' Janin was pretty boring, so I came up with Jain, which sounds like Jane, but looks a lot more like my actual name. My friends then started to call me Jainijain and that's the story behind it.

Tell us about your Stardoll journey!
I remember watching tv when an ad popped up introducing Stardoll. I saw it sereval times before I decided to give it a try. That was way back in 2008 or 2009. I signed up in January 2009 and I remember seeing all these cool fashion and makeup brands I coucldn't afford in real life but at Stardoll I could. I love to stay in contact with my Stardoll friends, that's the number one thing that always kepps me coming back. Other than that I love to dress up my doll and create new suites. I actually met my real life best friend on Stardoll. She isn't active here anymore, but if you want to check her out, her username is __Lavinia__.

Let's talk culture!
I'm really interested in the Turkish culture, I admire their strong family ties. My boyfriend actually is Turkish and I learn a lot from him and his family. I think it's always difficult to speak for a whole nationality or culture. From my point of view the West of Germany (where I come from) is a place where everything is possible, the people are very open-minded and no one is judging you if you have different beliefs. We actually don't eat Sauerbraten or Weißwurst in my area.

Let's talk fashion!
I love to browse Instagram or Pinterest or visit fashion and decor stores for inspiration. My favourite sd store is 'Runway', it's really high-fashion and trendy.

Janin's Shoutouts: I would shoutout 'Icesis' and 'Mayly1968' for their stunning suites and unique dolls. And 'turkiye' because she's the Queen of high-fashion outfits, she's a true inspiration.
