The best way to get hearts is to give one and then ask for a heart in return.

At club AcademyStar, place your name at the end of the list in the hearts discussion. Visit the dolls immediately above you on the list. Heart and leave a guestbook or album comment asking for a heart back.

If you are on the quest to heart 35 dolls, come to the last page of the heart discussion and work thru the list of dolls who need hearts from the last page.

To heart a yearbook click the link that says "Yearbook" at the doll's suite and select a project that has the heart symbol on it. Click on it to open it up.

You must actually click on a heart in a doll's yearbook in order for her to get credit for your visit. When you do that, the count will advance. Heart all the available projects (up to 4) depending on how many academy projects have been completed.
