Finding your Exercise!

We all know it's good to get a bit of exercise, but it can be hard to get motivated sometimes! Trying to match the type of exercise you do to your personality is a fun way to motivate yourself and have fun exercising - something that can often be hard for a lot of us.



The Socialite
If you are a social person who loves hanging out with friends, excercising with a friend or two might just be the way to go! One of my favourite things to do is go swiming at a beach or pool with friends, and this is a great way to be active too. You could try putting on some music and having a dance party with your friends, or just go for a walk together - even window shopping can count as exercise!


The Animal Lover
If you love the company of your pets, this can often be an opportunity to get active! Take your dog for a walk, or play with your cat. You can even buy special harnesses so you can walk your pet rabbit in the garden - aww, how cute!


The Helper
If you love helping out your family and friends, see if they need anything active done! Vacuuming is good exercise, and so is helping with things like fence painting. You could see if your neighbors need someone to walk their dog, or you might like to help keep a younger sibling busy by playing a fun game with them.


The Chilled Out Chick
If relaxing is important to you, you might think that exercise is a bit active for your personality, but there are lots of relaxing ways to exercise. Swimming can be very calming, because the water blocks out noise, creating a quiet space to swim. I also love yoga - with flowing moves and a focus on flexibility and meditation, this is a great activity!
