Hello again,

I’m happy to introduce another doll who has earned the Together 10ever achievement. Boookay has a refreshing point of view because she took a long break. Instead of seeing gradual changes at Stardoll like most long-time members, she was struck with how many big changes occurred during her absence.

I joined in 2007 when there were no wigs or face masks, and the clothes had a lot less detail. Most of my time was spent with the games and dress-up dolls. I began collecting Hotbuys and DKNY but then I took a break for a few years. When I came back at the start of this year I realized my style has changed a lot. Now I like edgier outfits. I love that the clothes look more realistic and reflect current trends. I enjoy dressing my doll and chatting with friends. My aim is to reach out more to other members and develop new friendships. I was 10 years old when I started and now at 20 I express my creativity by dressing in way I am not able to in real life.

This was my first Tribute Season and I loved how Stardoll brought in real life designers which allowed me to dress my doll in luxury brands. I also enjoy designing. I’ve met some talented designers who inspire me. Though I am not the best wig designer, I find satisfaction wearing my own original designs.

The main reason Boookay took a break was to concentrate on her education. She calls a city in the American South her home. A self-described “foodie” she loves to discover new places to eat. She impressed me as someone with a lot going on intellectually who also loves to express her feminine creative side. A southern belle with a twist.
