Fun & Festive Christmas Treats!
Hey, dolls!
I am getting really super excited for Christmas, as I imagine a lot of you guys are as well. And what better way to get in the Christmas spirit then to make some fun Christmas-themed treats? So here are a few easy holiday recipes!Candy Cane Chocolate Bark
This is a fun holiday twist on a delicious classic! You'll need white chocolate, crushed candy canes, and a baking sheet lined with foil.
Melt your white chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals. Once your chocolate is completely smooth and melted, pour it into the prepared pan. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle the crushed candy canes over it. Let it set at room temperature for an hour. If you live in a warmer climate you might want to place the bark the refrigerator to harden.
Christmas Puppy Chow
Puppy chow is one of my favorite treats all year round, but here's a way to Christmas it! You'll need 12 cups of rice squares cereal, 1 tub of green frosting, 1 tub of red frosting, and 4 cups of powdered sugar.
Divide the cereal between 2 bowls, 6 cups in each bowl. Microwave your frostings for one minute, until they are melted. Put the two bowl of cereals in separate gallon-size snap-seal bags. Pour the red frosting into one, and the green into the other. Add 2 cups of powdered sugar in each bag and shake to coat the cereal. Once the cereal is thoroughly coated, pour them into one big bowl so the red and green puppy chow combine.
I hope you guys have fun making these! Merry Christmas!
