Well-established indian designer, Sabyasachi Mukherhee, graduated from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (India) in 1999. Only three months later he launched his fashion label, and never looked back since.

He stole the hearts of national and international audiences with his spellbinding debut collection at India Fashion Week in 2007, and was labelled as the "future of Indian fashion."

Sabysasachi's home town - Kolkata - is his main inspiration. With fusion of styles, gorgeous embellishments, culture, tradition and contrasting textures, Sabyasachi remains true to his individuality, where, "clothes should just be an extension of one's intellect." What a thought!

Sabyasachi is not only well-established in the fashion world: he is recopgnised in the film industry, having designed for Bollywood films such as Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, Guzaarish and Babul. Amongst these bollywood films, his designs for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film "Black" earned him a National Award in 2005.
