Move over Andy Roddick, there’s a new tennis-playing cutie in town: Rafael Nadal!

We thought we’d give a birthday shout-out (he celebrates his 25th tomorrow) to the Spanish athlete, who is currently the No. 1 ranked male tennis player. Oh, and he’s got an Olympic gold medal also.

We don’t need to convince you that Rafael came out ahead in not only the athletic ability lottery, but the looks one as well—just look at the pic above. If you’re still not sure, though, listen to this: Rafael is the face of Emporio Armani underwear and Armani Jeans for the spring/summer 2011 collection, a job that other gorgeous athletic superstars Cristiano Ronaldo and David Beckham held previously. Announcing the selection, Armani said, “he is ideal as he represents a healthy and positive model for youngsters.” Well, there’s that, too… we were thinking it had a little something to do with those arms of his, or that hair, or those cheekbones… should we go on? Rafael is in the final four of the French Open, set to conclude this Sunday. You know who we’ll be cheering for.
