CORINE & THE SECRET SHOES #3
The next morning, Corine decided to wear her favorite jacket with a pair of black pants and a long-sleeved crop top she bought the week before. She decided to put the shoes with the outfit but realized that their pearl color didn't match so well with her clothes. I wish my top was matching with the shoes... she thought. Suddenly, a bright blue light blinded her. When she opened her eyes, her outfit had completely changed: her black pants were now light blue with pearling details on the sides, her crop top was now covered in silver fishnet and her jacket was now a dark navy blazer. Even her hair was styled differently.

Corine looked at herself in the mirror, frozen, jaw dropped and confused: were the shoes magic?... Becoming freaked out, Corine took the shoes off. Realizing that this wasn't a dream, she told herself that she would see the shop owner and get some answers about the shoes after school...

After her long day, Corine rushed to the shoe store. She opened the door so fast that a bunch of shoe boxes that were near the door fell on the floor. "Wow there little lady, be careful!" yelled an old man trying some running shoes. "Sorry, I'm looking for the owner; it's an emergency," explained Corine out of breath. "How can I help you?" asked a woman coming out of the back. "Oh um, I'm looking for the owner, the tall man with dark hair. Have you seen him? I really need to talk to him. You see, he gave me these shoes yesterday and..." Corine explained when the woman interrupted her. "Oh sweetie, I think you're in the wrong shoe store, I'm the owner."
