Britney Spears is a huge inspiration on my style, as a perfect pin-up for the late 90s, early 00s look! So, for todays post I have chosen some iconic outfits to recreate!

Starting off with my first outfit, which was of course inspired by Britney and Justin’s 2001 AMA’s outfit! This head-to-toe denim look is definitely one of my favourites, and I would wear double denim with a jacket and jeans, or even a skirt. These jeans inspired by Vetements are perfect has they have a DIY effect on the hem. Accessorize with silver and rhinestone jewellery.

My next look focuses on leather pants. Britney wore them regularly, whether red (Rolling Stone cover), white (Lucky video), or mainly black (I Love Rock N Roll video). For my outfit I stuck to the black pair, and styled them down with a casual crop top and minimal gold accessories.

My last looks were inspired by some of Britney’s most glam moments – her white dress and fur worn to the 2000 Grammys, the Born to Make You Happy and Lucky music video outfits, and of course that rhinestone bodysuit in Toxic. Instead of a white dress, I chose a two-piece and kept it dressy with the silver accessories, minimal heels and fur stole. A silver top would work for an ultra-glam look, but with less jewellery. A glitter mesh top or lurex leggings would be perfect to channel Toxic.
