Whitney Houston's funeral is this weekend, just a week after she was found dead in the bathtube of her Beverly Hills Hotel. The funeral will be a private event, by invitation-only and many celebs and stars are invited. Some are very close to Whitney, like Kevin Costner who starred with Whitney in the 1992 movie, The Bodyguard, where she sang the famous song "I Will Always Love You." Kevin will also speak at the funeral. Both Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder are said to sing at the service, and the funeral will be held at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey where Whitney first sang. It will be a touching memorial to her life and a way for those who love her to say goodbye. We will miss you Whitney. (people)

Though Rachel Zoe was furiously snapping pictures of the sequined evening gowns that closed Michael Kors’ runway collection yesterday, we were lingering on the  hotpant-meets-turtleneck silhouette with which he opened the show.  Though it may be the least practical thing we’ve seen on a runway thus far, it’s the most appealing and, strangely, flattering.  It may not be red carpet appropriate, but we’re determined to find a place—other than Kors’ perfectly glossy runway—in which the outfit makes sense. Click here to see the rest of Kors’ great fall collection!

From left to right, Matthew Hit, Noma Han and Lyle Lodwick.

After a week’s worth of chatting with a slew of lovely ladies—from supermodels Lara Stone and Coco Rocha to buzzed-about beauties Ashley Smith and Ajak Deng—it’s time for a bonus round. We plucked three male models from the center of New York fashion week and subjected them to our model questionnaire. Between Matthew Hitt, Noma Han, and Lyle Lodwick, they’ve walked everything from Balenciaga and Marc Jacobs to Lanvin and Band of Outsiders. Not to mention, two are budding rock musicians, another is concerned with shrinking his ear-plug gauge size, and one has a penchant for Prada dresses. Let the guessing games begin…

    MATTHEW HITT
    Age: 24

Hometown: Rhondda Valley, Wales. Now I live downtown.

    Zodiac Sign: Gemini.

    Model crush: LOL.

Best party this week: The Band of Outsiders dinner was lovely. We ate meatballs and drank whiskey.

Song currently stuck in your head: “Satan Rejected my Soul” by Morrissey.

Current Obsession: Eating. When I eat it is the food that is scared.

If you weren’t a model, you’d be: Waiting in line at the Labour Exchange.

Something we don’t know about you: Sister, I’m a poet.

Who makes you LOL on Twitter? Adam Green @averagecabbage

Most embarrassing model moment: I remember slipping during my first season. The gasps from the front row were not comforting.

Favorite show: I like doing Patrik’s shows.

    NOMA HAN
    Age: 21

    Hometown: South Korea

    Zodiac Sign: Gemini

    Model crush: Caitlin King

Best party this week: I don’t know because I haven’t been out for a while, but Fashion Week parties are always fun!

Song currently stuck in your head: Richard Marx, “Now And Forever”

    Current obsession: Cutting my hair.

If you weren’t a model, you’d be: A college student.

Something we don’t know about you: I’m shrinking my ear plug size.

Who makes you LOL on Twitter? My fans sometimes ask me stuff that I can’t answer…

Most embarrassing model moment: Two seasons ago during NYFW, I walked the wrong way at a show and didn’t go into the exit that I was supposed to go in.

Favorite runway moment: The Lanvin show because the runway was really long and it was an awesome outfit.

    LYLE LODWICK
    Age: 24

    Hometown: Baltimore, Brooklyn

    Zodiac Sign: Capricorn

    Model crush: Agyness Deyn.

Best party this week: Purple Magazine Party at The Standard Hotel. Everyone was there and everyone had fun!

Song is currently stuck in your head: “Celebration,” by Kool and the Gang.

    Current obsession: Music.

    If you weren’t a model, you’d be: A full-time musician.

Something we don’t know about you: My new band is called Shining Mirrors and our first show is at the Wooly on March 2nd.

Who makes you LOL on Twitter? @antwanduncan

Most embarrassing model moment: Showing up in the same dress as Anna Wintour. Never a good look…

Favorite runway moment so far: When I opened Comme Des Garçons last June.
Working with Rei Kawakubo and Junya Watanabe is quite an experience to say the least. Comme Des Garçons takes the utmost pride in every level of their product and it shows in their work.

Norma Kamali Come March, Kamali is launching a new line, Kamalikulture.  Everything in the collection will sell for under $100, focusing on timeless dresses, suiting and swimwear. Available exclusively online, the collection is based on an idea the designer first came up with back in the ’70s, when she wore a lot of vintage dresses from the ’30s: creating “antiques for the future.” Kamali explains: “Like the dresses I was wearing from the ’30s, I wanted my styles to be worn in the future. There are a number of styles in the Kulture collection that I actually designed in 1974, like the all-in-one dress.” Her main collection, too, focuses on the idea of timelessness with a smidge of the ’30s, thanks to polka dots and turbans. Nanette Lepore Flouncy gold lamé dresses and foulard prints popped up in Lepore’s bohemian fall collection, inspired by “tarot reading with Oscar Wilde.” Looks in chartreuse and cyan lent a modern jolt to the gypsy-inspired beaded tops and lace skirts. Levi’s To debut its first ever globally-focused collection (phasing out designs targeted specifically to certain locales like Asia or Europe), Levi’s pulled off another first with the help of 48 models: its debut New York Fashion Week show. The aim was to show the brand in a more elegant and refined way—a vision three years in the making—by working its signature denim in new treatments and silhouettes. Suzanne Rae Young designer Suzanne Rae Pelaez—who, by the way, would love to dress Tilda Swinton—went the “poetic and rock’n'roll” route for fall, inspired by the “internal revolution” of Jim Morrison, Aldous Huxley, and William Blake. Diaphanous white cape blouses and leather corset dresses were juxtaposed against lots of velvet, the first time Pelaez tried her hand at the fabric. Elie Tahari A crowd of cocktail-laden guests mingled in Tahari’s showroom as his models (some of whom were the designer’s friends, family, and staff) chatted, smiled, and moved about their display vignettes. A tight palette of cool blues, greens, and purples colored everything from alpaca fur coats to simple cropped pants.

Just another horrible thing to add the drama of the Willis family: Rumer Willis' home was recently burglarized. The good news: Rumer wasn't there at the time. Since she is currently renovating her home she is staying somewhere else, but the thieves were still about to steal vaulables worth up to $10,000. Most of Rumer's stuff is accounted for, in fact, it was the person who is renovating her home who suffered to most in the burglary. We're just glad that Rumer is ok, time to get a new lock. (tmz)
