Amber.Stardoll- A lot of people follow in their parents footsteps when it comes to choosing a career and Hollywood is no different! It must be hard though to live up to the pressure when your parents are super succesful but here are some examples of celebrity offspring who are making their own name in Hollywood!

Arguably one of the world’s most respected fashion designers, Yohji Yamamoto allows a tiny glimmer of a glimpse into his inner sanctum in director Theo Stanley’s intimate short documentary titled This Is My Dream. While most documentaries clock in around the two hour mark, this brief, 30 minute flash comes as a refreshingly succinct take on the man behind one of sportswear’s most celebrated lines. It’s actually less of a documentary and more an insight into Yamamoto’s current frame of mind, specifically in the months leading up to the showing of his Spring/Summer ’10 show in New York.
Thankfully (some might say miraculously), Stanley was able to capture the notoriously private mastermind in a ready-and-willing state of surprising openness. For 30 minutes he simply throws out pearl after pearl of wisdom. The film is part of a large-scale celebration of the 10th anniversary of his collaboration with Adidas and includes some drool-worthy footage from collections past, including his seminal inaugural 1981 women’s collection. If there’s one thing we wish there’d been more of, it would be more of those vintage clips (but perhaps that’s for the two hour long version further down the line).
The film is rich with scenes highlighting Yamamoto’s various temperaments. In one, we find him peering intensely at two models from behind a full-length mirror; in another we see him strumming enthusiastically on a guitar while singing an improvisational ode to New York. It is indeed an extraordinary treat to follow along as the camera captures the incredibly intimate moments of Yamamoto’s creative process. The film will become available for purchase on DVD at all Y-3 stores globally as well as on Y-3.com in the fall.

Gwen Stefani‘s in Cannes for a few reasons—sun, food, family fun—but the pop icon’s first order of business was shooting her third and latest commercial for L’Oreal. Yesterday, she spent twelve hours filming on a yacht, in a villa, and against an eternity pool (she swears she only got tired around hour 10). The campaign won’t debut until September (when No Doubt’s new album hits shelves), but she did offer one great hint after lunch this afternoon when I mentioned ELLE’s May cover. Though no one does a red lip quite like Gwen, the nude she wore on the cover was a big hit in our office—as well as L’Oreal’s. She said, “That’s what L’Oreal was really inspired by! We wanted that look for the commercial so we did a version of that—with the hair. I loved that hair; I was always very much into Bewitched and a Samantha look.”
As for tonight’s look, when she heads to Hotel du Cap for the annual AmFar gala, she’ll be wearing a dress of her own design. “I haven’t made very many couture gowns—it’s a big process and a lot of work and it’s a lot of pressure because there are so many beautiful gowns out there that I could wear, but I really wanted to make something with L.A.M.B. because I really wanted to auction it off,” Stefani said. (read more here).Well more details have been revealed about the show, and we thought we'd share them with you! So in the show called "Hart of Dixie", Rachel will be playing a New York doctor who moves down south after inheriting a small medical practice. It will be a comedic drama and other than Rachel, we'll be seeing "My name is Earl" actress Jamie King and hottie Scott Porter.We are super excited for Rachel, but we do feel that the whole pretty doctor thing has become a bit cliché. Hopefully though, she'll find a way to make it work.

Last night, to commemorate the opening of a new Hugo store in Soho, Hugo Boss made a generous contribution to the Guggenheim’s acquisitions fund, threw a party and invited some of our favorite celebs. Paul Sevigny DJ’d in the back of the store while his sister Chloë hung out in the front wearing Hugo and Chloë Sevigny X Opening Ceremony shoes (with socks, of course).

Oh, Ashton Kutcher, why have we forsaken you? The brown-eyed, brown-haired looker has been off of our minds for a while (he is married, after all), but his new role on Two and a Half Men has got us wondering why we’ve been forgetting about this cutie! Remember when we were all Ashton-Kutcher obsessed? He played the dumb but adorable Michael Kelso on That 70’s Show and graced magazine cover after magazine cover with that goofy smile of his (not to mention rock hard abs). Then, we fell even harder for his hilarious antics when he started pranking other celebs on Punk’d. Since becoming a married man, Kutcher’s been out of the limelight, playing devoted hubbie and step dad (sigh). Thankfully, the hottie will be coming back into our lives on a weekly basis as Charlie Sheen’s replacement on the now infamous sitcom Two and a Half Men. Now that’s an improvement! Ashton said he felt like he won the lottery with the role, and that it’s the best job in show business. He tweeted this pic of him and his castmates yesterday, and it looks like they’re having a blast. Well, Ashton, we couldn’t be happier for you!

- Oh la la! We're really starting to put the pieces together now. Gossip Girl star Blake Lively and A-list actor Leonardo DiCaprio met in November last year when Blake auditioned for Leo's upcoming movie "The Great Gatsby" and rumors of romance followed when they were later spotted flirting it up at a party in January this year. Just this last week Leo split from his long time girlfriend, supermodel Bar Rafaeli and shortly there after Blake and Leo were seen cuddling it up in New York and later Cannes. In fact, just the other day they were spotted having a lovely time together on board of Steven Spielberg's yacht! There is no doubt in our mind that Blake was one of the reason, if not the number one reason, why Leo and Bar split up.We sort of think of Blake as Bar no.2 for Leo. They're both blonde, gorgeous young ladies with happy go lucky, yet sensible personalities. Who knows where this relationship could go?!
