I thought that could be a fun topic, but not all clubs give away wigs - so I wrote some tips on winning creative contests in your fave club! Club competitions are a great way for non-SS members to win items, so I definitely suggest giving it a go.

The Right Club
If you're looking to win some items and have fun in contests, look for active clubs with dedicated owners. Ask around to make sure the contests held in the club you are interested in are known to be fair and follow through with prizes. Make sure you spend some time commenting on discussions and getting to know other club members - it isn't all about the gifts!

Scenery Tips
Scenery contests are a popular contest theme. Skilled sceneries look like art - and that means you need to practice! Learn how to pose dolls in a scenery using layering (modeling clubs can help with this) and stock up on flowers and single color squares to layer with. Try shifting your focus from creating a "scene" to creating a piece of art - this helps you stick out from the crowd and catch the judge's eye!

Beauty/Fashion Tips
Beauty and fashion contests in clubs usually mean dressing up a doll or creating a makeup look around a theme. If you find yourself in one of these contests with very few clothes or makeup items, ask the owner if you can use a guest doll. As long as everyone else in the contest has the same option, this is completely fair, as it lets you show off your style without being restricted by your closet! Make sure you ask the doll for permission to dress them up first.
