Summer Makeup Tutorial

há 95 meses

Hey everyone!

It's been awhile since I've done a makeup post, and since summer is right around the corner (for those of us in the Northern hemisphere) I thought that I would show you an easy look you can do that has a nice pop of color.

I'll be writing about real-life makeup, but I've done a similar look on my doll for a reference.

1. To start, make sure your skin is clean and moisturized. Then add a BB or CC cream for that fresh look. You can also skip this step and just use concealer.

2. Apply a neutral eyeshadow from the lid to the browbone, making sure it's a shade or to lighter than your natural skin tone. Then apply a shade darker than your skin in the contours of your eyes (the crease) for a bit more definition.

3. Choose a bright color of gel eyeliner and apply it to the upper lash line, flicking it out into a wing. Choose a complimentary color of pencil eyeliner and apply it to the waterline. Add black mascara to both the top and bottom lashes.

4. For a summery flush, choose a peachy or coral blush and add to the apples of the cheeks. Give yourself a nice glow with a bronzer, and if you want you can choose one with a bit of shimmer.

5. Finish off with a bright lip color. I recommend bright peach shades, oranges and pinks. This gives you a perfect tropical look. (:

I hope you enjoyed this beauty-related post! If you'd like to see more in the future, leave a comment below along with requests. See you next time!
